Labryinth

Labryinth in my front yard

Animal Spirit Communication – May 2010

Spring is here, which in Traditional Chinese Medicine terms  is a time of new growth and forward movement. A time for cleansing and clearing of the old and welcoming in the new.  I hope that your are enjoying the nicer weather with your animal companion and having some fun.  If it’s raining don’t  forget the rain coat for you and your dog,  they know it helps.  Professional animal communicator Nedda Wittels has written a few articles that I am very pleased to add to my library section.  If you have an interesting article you would like included please just contact me and I can add it.

I’ve been busy with radio and TV interviews, long distance reiki sessions and animal communication.  I hope I have time to add another labryinth this year.

Thank you to the Kid Carson Show on 94.5 The Beat, in Vancouver BC for the opportunity to share animal communication with their listeners.   Special congratulations to  Megan  who was the first listener to contact me and was the winner of  an animal communication session.  Soon to be posted on the video blog.

Tips for Litter Box Management– Is your cat having some litter box issues?   I am pleased and proud to present fellow animal communicator  Nedda Wittels.  M.S., M.A., Nedda is an internationally known Animal Communicator, Shamballa Master, Light Worker, and Teacher. She  has written this very insightful, and helpful article that has some  great suggestions  I hadn’t seen before.  Our senior cats have some special requirements that we can easily provide for if we know what to do.  Nedda has written several helpful articles that will be highlighted here.

Help for Biting Dogs–  “Nipping and Biting are normal behaviors in the world of the wild dog, coyote, or wolf.  When living with humans, however, these behaviors are unacceptable.  How can we help our dogs give up their natural ways of communicating and interacting with one another? ”   Animal communicator Nedda Wittels again offers her helpful insights on a potentially volatile situation for both the dog and their human companion.

Long distance reiki can be extremely beneficial in many situations but was particularly helpful for Gracie, a 3 year old   Labradoodle in California.  Gracie was experiencing complications from a hip surgery and I was asked to connect and send Gracie a series of  healing energy treatments.  Gracie responded very well and I reported back every day with the results of the reiki and messages that came up.  With this information her family was able to respond instantly to her needs and suggestions.  The reiki treatments can be very powerful when teamed up with animal communication. Here is what Gracie’s family has to say…

“Thank you for sending healing energy to Gracie.  She was so much more alert and content after your sessions with her.  I really appreciated having feedback on how she was feeling and what her needs were.  It was so very helpful to have Susan communicate with Gracie, who was recovering from two consecutive surgeries.  There is no doubt that Susan’s Reiki was helpful, and her connection with Gracie was right on and invaluable  ..J. CA

I built  a labryinth last spring by mowing the pattern in my front field.  It was fun to build and maintain and was amazing to walk.  Labyrinths have been a part of healing for years and you can usually find one at a local church or hospital.  Animals like  them too and enjoy the energy and release that can be felt by walking in the concentric patterns.   More about horses and labryinths later, it can be an incredible training aid that can be fun to walk as well.

Practice Animal Millie

Practice Animal Millie

Practice Animal, Millie – I hope you enjoyed practising your animal communication skills with Millie.   You can read  about her here and compare your notes.  She is a  happpy,  dog and loves to play in her fenced yard.  Her yard is fenced in high page wire and there is  large fir and cedar trees along with a big sandbox area where she buries her food. Her favorite toy is a ball on  a rope that she will bring you to throw.   She loves to be with her 3 boys and likes to sneak on the trampoline when you’re not looking.  She likes to come inside and be a part of the action but she gets excited and can knock over the boys with her enthusiasm. She likes to go for walks with her human  Mom and boys, and loves to go out with her Dad when he goes on the quad.  If you would like to have more info validated please just email.  Thank you.

Dr. Mehmet Oz Declares Reiki as His #1 Alternative Medicine Secret
“If Dr. Mehmet Oz is talking about Reiki, all of America is talking about it and looking for ways to learn about it.” Reiki Master Rose De Dan says that with health being at the top of people’s 2010 resolution list, learning Reiki is a great next step to take, and offers six tips on how to choose the right training.

Seattle, WA (PRWEB) January 9, 2010 — Reiki Masters across America and the world had cause for celebration on January 6 when Dr. Mehmet Oz revealed his Ultimate Alternative Medicine Secrets for 2010 during his nationally broadcast afternoon talk show. He ranked Reiki #1. Dr. Oz said, “Reiki is one of my favorites, we’ve been using it for years in the Oz family, and we swear by it.”

Before his popularity as a TV personality through his five-year association with Oprah, Dr. Oz incorporated Reiki into his open-heart surgeries through the assistance of Reiki Master Pamela Miles. On the show, Miles spoke about the benefits of Reiki and offered a demonstration to an audience member who had a headache, which quickly disappeared.

Rose De Dan, Reiki Master and founder of Seattle, WA – based Wild Reiki and Shamanic Healing LLC (Tails of a Healer: Animals, Reiki and Shamanism” is thrilled that Reiki is finally getting the attention it deserves. “If Dr. Mehmet Oz is talking about Reiki, all of America is talking about it and looking for ways to learn about it.”

Reiki is a non-invasive form of energy medicine that balances the body, mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually, enabling the body to do what it does best — heal itself. De Dan explains, “Reiki assists in accelerating healing from injury/illness, promotes relaxation and stress reduction, reduces or eliminates pain. Reiki strengthens the immune system, assists in clearing emotional or physical trauma, and offers quality of life support for those who are aging or in hospice care. Knowing Reiki is like having your own personal healing kit at your fingertips.”

De Dan says that with health being at the top of people’s 2010 resolution list, learning Reiki is a great next step to take. Taking a Reiki class offers people greater personal control over their own health and healing. They can also use it to help others in their family, including their pets. De Dan suggests Googling “Reiki Master” and the name of the city closest to you to find a practitioner in your community. She offers 6 tips on how to choose the right training.

1) Attend a class in person, rather than online, for maximum benefit.
2) Inquire about class size. Small classes offer more personal guidance. Ten students or less is best.
3) Don’t be in hurry. Take training one level at a time for best effect and to integrate the healing energy and changes to your benefit.
4) Find a Reiki Master Teacher who offers ongoing support and guidance and access to a community of Reiki practitioners.
5) Teachers who have active healing practices can offer a wealth of insights and opportunities to support your growth.
6) Years of experience and credentials are good things to check. Trust your intuition in selecting teacher feels best for you.

De Dan says that the general public is still relatively unaware that Reiki is offered as a complementary modality in many U.S. hospitals, as well as worldwide. Outside of hospitals, De Dan says that there are many thousands of Reiki practitioners in the U.S. and millions around the world.

Intuitive animal communication – listen for the knock.

I was watching the Bonnie Hunt Show this morning and Dominic Monaghan was a special guest. I just loved the epic adventure of  The Lord of the Rings, and I am also a Lost and Flash Forward fan so I was eager to see the interview with the charming and handsome Dominic.  I learned that he is a huge animal lover and he told an amazing story of manifestation and how a Praying Mantis came into his life.

I could easily relate to how our animals friends can choose us in their life and come to us in the most incredible ways.  My long time companion Beau, combined with my sister and kids were unrelenting in their quest for him to join our family. That is quite an amazing animal story as well but that is another post.

Would you like to share the  story of how your animal friend came to be a part of your family? Please use the comment form below, we’d love to hear from you and your animal friend.  If you have ever wondered about animal spirit communication just click here and learn how it can help you and your animal friend.

I hope you enjoy this video of Dominic  showing  us the Law of Attraction and intuitive animal communication in action. Thank you Dominic for sharing your experience!

Do hummingbirds have legs?

October 24, 2009 by

The other day I was having a rather lively discussion with  a great friend and it seemed like we were getting nowhere about a touchy topic.  Actually we were talking about money, it’s worth and how to respect it.  I had been watching a hummingbird right outside our window gently put his beak into a flower then move on to another. He would go away and come back, repeating the process.  I was really enjoying this distraction and  I shared this with my friend and he watched mesmerized as well.  Just then he looks away and momemts later asks me ” do hummingbirds have legs?”

You guessed it, I  felt it coming and I could not stop it.  I  laughed, I cried, my  nose ran and my stomach hurt and I could not stop laughing.  The look on his face was priceless as he tried to imagine if he’d ever seen their legs before.  “I only see them fly” he said.

Do hummingbirds have legs?  Have you ever seen them?  There is a lot of information that our minds just fill in for us.  My friend is a pilot and he had imagined the little hummingbird coming in for a landing like a floatplane, carefully positioning itself so it was a perfect landing.  It had to be perfect, after all there  still was the question about  do hummingbirds really  have legs?

There is a lot of fascinating information out there about the animals that we love that we do not know.  In our busy hectic lives who has time to google little known facts about ?  The truth  is that the more we know the more we understand. Chief Dan George left us with these words of wisdom…

If you talk to the animals they will talk with you and you will know each other.
If you do not talk to them you will not know them, and what you do not know you will fear.
What one fears one destroys.    Chief Dan George

In the spirit of helping people to understand more about the animals we live with I am going to use  this animal communication blog to relay interesting information as I find it.  But, back to interesting facts about hummingbirds…

  •  yes, hummingbirds do have legs, although they are not strong enough to walk with they can perch with them
  • hummingbirds are territorial and have been know to bravely defend their flower bush from predators- even hawks
  • a hummingbird will feed about 50 – 60 times a day from a single bush
  • they have hollow bones and are warm blooded
  • they can fly up, down, sideways, forward, backwards and they can hover
  • they can beat their wings up to 80 times a second which creates a humming noise, hence their name
  • they love nectar and will drink sugar water from a feeder of any color, including red

Do you know any other interesting facts about hummingbirds?
